PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup actuator which can sufficiently restrain the deviation in focusing direction of one end of a suspension wire projecting from a damper base. SOLUTION: The optical pickup actuator is provided with; a plurality of suspension wires 12 for oscillatably supporting a movable part 11; and the damper base 13 which has a back wall and holds the suspension wires so that their vibrations may be restrained under the condition that the plurality of suspension wires passing through the back wall and the one ends of such suspensions project from the back wall. Further, the optical pickup actuator is provided with an end part support member 22 comprising an insulating elastic body which supports and fixes the one ends of the plurality of suspension wires at a position apart from the back wall of the damper base.
