PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice guidance system which more simplifies user's response input operation to a voice guidance. SOLUTION: Before the voice guidance is sent to a user, at least explanatory information whose contents show that input operations meaning selection of candidate phrases are assigned to prescribed button operations is sent to the user with a voice. Then each candidate phrase is sent to the user with a voice, and a silent section to a prescribed sound for informing the user that an input operation can be accepted is added in relation to voice sending of the candidate phrase. When a signal based on user's input operation relating to voice sending of the candidate phrase is accepted, processing assigned to the accepted signal is immediately performed. When the signal is not accepted, the operation of reading out the next candidate phrase and sending it to the user with a voice is continued. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
