PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus with which a position of a tomogram can be shifted by a BO shift and an influence of a fat suppression defect or the like can be reduced without a major modification of a hardware such as an iron shim or the like, and a magnetic resonance imaging data processing method. SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus 20 includes a phase difference calculation means 44 which picks up the complex data which is not phase-encoded from the complex data which is collected by a dynamic scan and A/D converted demodulating a nuclear magnetic resonance signal to execute one-dimensional Fourier conversion and calculates a temporal phase difference of the data obtained by executing the one-dimensional Fourier conversion on the above complex data which is not phase-encoded, and an image position shifting means 50 which calculates an amount of a frequency shift from the value obtained on the basis of the above phase difference and shifts the phase of the complex data.
