<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device which can suppress an increase in the number of component parts and also increase in cost, in preventing a tongue plate from hanging down in a cabin for storing a seat belt. <P>SOLUTION: The seat belt device, in which an occupant seated at the center part of a rear seat is restrained with the rear seat in the event of a collision, is provided with a retractor 3 which is attached to a rear pillar (car body member) 2 in the vicinity of the rear seat and winds a webbing 4 in the storage direction all the time while allowing the webbing to move freely in an ordinary use, a guide member 5 which is arranged on the ceiling part 8 in the cabin and guides and supports the webbing 4 unwound from the retractor 3 to the center part of the rear seat, a first tongue plate 6 which is connected and fixed to the tip end part 4a of the webbing 4, and a holding member (engaging means) 15 which is provided with a second tongue plate 7 attached to the webbing 4 freely movably and detachably engages the first and second tongue plates 6, 7 with the cabin exposed part of the webbing 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
