<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a resin solution for a printing ink varnish, the printing ink varnish, and a printing ink for manufacturing an offset printing ink enabling high-speed printing but reluctant to collect on rollers, to foul a dampening roller, to produce mist, or to smear a base, and to provide a high-speed printing method. <P>SOLUTION: The resin solution for the printing ink varnish is prepared by a chain extension reaction in an organic solution at 160-240°C of a rosin-modified phenol resin (A), prepared by the reaction of a rosin ester resin with a resol type phenol resin in the absence of a solvent at duration of >240°C for <1 hour, with a resol type phenol resin (B). The printing ink varnish is prepared by the chain extension reaction of the rosin modified phenol resin (A) with the resol type phenol resin (B) in an organic solution in the presence of a drying oil and/or a semidrying oil (C) at 160-240°C. The printing ink contains the printing ink varnish and a dye, and the high-speed printing method can print at≥8 m/sec. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
