PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse tube refrigerator installable on the same types of other models with exactly the same parts and capable of preventing the effect of minute electric noise resulting from the motion of mechanical movable parts such as a gas compressor and a valve unit for the cold head of the pulse tube refrigerator without impairing pressure resistance, airtightness, and outgas resistance. SOLUTION: A metal insulator 10 formed of a metal material to which a surface treatment allowing an electrical insulation is applied is inserted in the gas connection pipe 8 of the pulse tube refrigerator 3. The metal insulator 10 is held by a pair of flanges 11 and 11, and the flanges 11 and 11 are tightened to each other through an insulator collar 12 with bolts 13 and nuts 14.
