PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chuck device, simply demounting a claw part from the lateral direction, simplifying the contents of works and lowering the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A chuck claw means 3 is composed of: a claw part 4 having a dovetail groove 4b on an adjacent surface orthogonal to a work abutting surface 4a parallel to the abutting surface 4a; and a claw part support member 5 having a projecting part dovetail 5a engaged with the dovetail groove 4b of the claw part 4. The claw part support member 5 is engaged and fixed to a movable member 2 of the chuck device body 1 through a locking part 9, the projecting part dovetail 5a is disposed intersecting perpendicularly to the radial direction of the chuck device body 1, a storing pilot hole 8b for freely projecting and recessed locking screw member 8 is bored in the surface 5a of the projecting part dovetail, an insertion hole 10 having a smaller diameter than the outside diameter of the head 8a of the locking screw member 8 in which a tool is loosely inserted in turning the locking screw member is bored in an engagement part of the locking screw member 8 provided on the claw support member 5 and the claw part 4, and the head 8a of the locking screw member 8 is projected to press the inside engagement surface of the dovetail groove 4b, thereby mutually locking fixing them.
