Accordingly, the lock pawl (78) is rotated by a compression coiled spring (70) to bring the lock pawl in an engageable state. Immediately after a rotating force in a pull-out direction is imparted to the lock gear (26) by a load from an occupant after the operation of the pre-tensioner mechanism (34), the lock pawl (78) is engaged with the lock gear (26) to stop the pull-out of the webbing (20). As a result, the amount of the webbing (20) to be pulled out can be reduced.
