<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing apparatus for reflecting usage patterns and implementing a control such as an alert related to a remaining capacity and a configuration change for suppressing a power consumption in response to the remaining capacity of a battery. <P>SOLUTION: A communication terminal apparatus 1 stores information for indicating a base station 10 within a coverage area when it is charged by a charger 2. If the base station 10 is the base station AA10, an alerted remaining capacity level of the battery is set below the level of the other base station 10 within the coverage area of the base station AA10.
