PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge port structure for a chain conveyor for conveying powder and grain material capable of providing smooth opening/closing operations of a gate plate, and providing improvement in sealability for preventing leakage of the powder and granular material. SOLUTION: In this discharge port structure for the chain conveyor 1 for conveying the powder and grain material having a conveyor case 2, a conveyor chain 7 with a blade 7b (conveyance blade) which circulates and travels in the conveyor case 2, and a slide gate 11 which opens/closes the discharge port 4 provided at a bottom plate 3 of the conveyor case 2, a flexible metallic L-shaped cross-section seal plate 16 is disposed between a lower surface of the conveyor case 2 and a gate plate 13 constituting the slide gate 11, a base end side of the flexible metallic L-shaped cross section seal plate 16 is fixed on the conveyor case 2 side, and at least the top end of the flexible metallic L-shaped cross-section seal plate 16 is brought into contact with a surface of the gate plate 13.
