PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic material, especially, a silver halide color photosensitive material, which is superior in color reproducibility and reduced in generation of unevenness during development processing. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic material has at least one layer of photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer on a support. The silver halide photographic material comprises at least one layer, containing the emulsification dispersion that includes at least one kind of surfactants expressed by general Formula (I), and also the sensitized material comprises a photosensitive emulsion layer substantially of no coloration. In the general Formula (I) (R<SB>1</SB>-L)n-J-(A)m, A represents an acid group or its metal salt selected from among a sulfonic, phosphoric or carboxylic acid, and R<SB>1</SB>represents an aliphatic group that includes the aliphatic group having at least≥6C on the main chain as a partial structure. L represents a divalent group, and J represents an (n+m) valent linking group for linking A with R<SB>1</SB>-L, wherein n represents a natural number of 1-6, and m represents that of 1-3.
