PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoreceptor, capable of simultaneously solving the contradicting characteristics of adhesiveness of foreign substances to the organic photoreceptor and wear-resistance characteristics, preventing the occurrence of dash marks and black dots, preventing the occurrence of a transfer memory, and to provide potential characteristics proper in long term and providing proper electrophotographic images, and to provide a process cartridge using the organic photoreceptor and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The organic photoreceptor has a charge generating layer containing at least a charge generating substance and a charge transfer layer containing a charge transfer substance on at least a conductive support, wherein the charge generating substance is a titanyl phthalocyanine pigment, and the charge transfer layer contains a polycarbonate having a structural unit expressed by general Formula (1) and the charge transfer substance expressed by general Formula (3).
