PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand for displaying an article of clothing of which a barrel part can be simply made of a piece of corrugated paper, which can be combined with a hanger and where a suit of clothes can be sold together with the hanger by the hanger being removed from the stand. SOLUTION: The stand for displaying the article of the clothing comprises a combination of the hanger part A, consisting of plate bodies 1 and 2 formed of pieces of corrugated paper or the like and shaping rectangles where a hook 16 is formed on one hand and grooves fitting into the barrel part B are formed on the other, with the barrel part B, formed of parts provided on the upper part where the hanger part A can be set on or removed from and a base plate integrally connected with the lower part. The barrel part B is provided with a pair of right and left of vertical lattice plates 4 formed on a rectangular back plate 3 and both side edges of the back plate 3. Horizontal lattice plates 9 are formed across the back plate 3 and the vertical lattice plates 4 in a vertical direction of the barrel part B. After right and left of both vertical lattice plates 4 are bent up in the same direction, the horizontal lattice plates 9 are bent up in the same direction to combine the vertical lattice plates 4 with the horizontal lattice plates 9 at a right angle one another and then the vertical lattice plates 4 are erected on and fixed to the upper face of the base plate connected with the lower part of the barrel part.
