Lamp with a cover with variable configuration

A light comprises a lamp in a housing, a design element (40) and a translucent and elastic plastic lamp cover. A foil (60) is removably attached (30) to the housing onto which the design element is arranged. An independent claim is also included for an additional light cover especially for a strip lighting system as above.
