Fragmentation envelope for high explosive projectile

The envelope has units to modify fragmentation characteristics of an intermediate zone (7) with respect to end zones (2a, 2b). The units have an internal profile (1b) to allow thickness of the envelope at the level of the zone (7) to be higher than the thickness at the level of each end zone of the envelope. A fragilization line network (8) is provided on an external profile (1a) and/or the internal profile.
