The motor housing manufacturing method has a magnetic flux return ring positioned within the electric motor housing (1), with subsequent machining of the motor housing side wall (2), for altering the shape and size of the housing to match the outer size and shape of the flux return ring, so that the latter is secured within the motor housing.
