PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker system wherein a power amplifier can sufficiently be cooled and excellent sound quality can be obtained without the risk of the touch of a hand to a live electric part of the power amplifier. SOLUTION: In the speaker system wherein the power amplifier 3 is arranged in a bass reflex type enclosure 1, a protector 4 formed of rod members is arranged between an opening of a port 5 in the enclosure 1 and the power amplifier 3 and fixed to the enclosure 1.
