The machine for correcting the orientation of components (6) comprises a vertical turntable (2) which has radial bores (21) which alternate with blind bores (20). A camera (1) detects the orientation and those which are upside-down are fed into the blind bores. The turntable is then turned to drop them into an outlet channel with the correct orientation. Component with the correct orientation pass through the radial bores and a connecting pipe (9) before reaching the outlet channel. An independent claim is included for a method for correcting the orientation of components using the machine.
