PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and ensure joining work of upper and lower piles while dispensing with welding, bolt fastening and alignment work of the upper and lower piles, and to be suitable for joining particularly piles with large bores. SOLUTION: A first joint hardware 1 having a fitting projecting part 7 is fixed to the upper pile 27B, and a second joint hardware 12 having a fitting recess 18 is fixed to the lower pile 27A (a). The lower pile 27A is embedded in a pile hole 31, and the upper pile 27B is lowered from above (a). The fitting protrusion 7 and the fitting recess 18 are fitted to allow an annular groove 10 and an annular groove 21 of semicircular cross section to face each other to form an annular hole 25 of circular cross section (b). Connecting rods 34 are inserted from lead-in holes 23 of the second joint hardware 12 and inserted in close contact into the annular hole 25 to fix joining of the upper and lower piles 27A, 27B.
