<p>The invention relates to a modified socket comprising an internal electronic circuit which captures signals that are emitted by a remote control from any point in the surrounding area (360 DEG ) using an acrylic plate which directs the signals towards the infrared sensor located in the aforementioned electronic circuit. The electronic circuit can alter the lighting conditions in incandescent bulbs and control the following functions, namely: turning on/off the light and increasing/decreasing the intensity thereof. The circuit is also equipped with a 15, 30 or 60 minute timer, so that the light can be turned off automatically. The purpose of the invention is to provide a device for controlling lighting conditions, which is different to those currently available and which is convenient to use with the aid of a remote control. The invention is essentially characterised in that the socket combines all of the advantages of existing devices, but with a 360 DEG reception range and a built-in timer for automatic switch-off.</p> |
