<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ribosome having a part specifically to be combined with a solid surface. <P>SOLUTION: The ribosome with an affinity tag is a ribosome with an affinity tag useful for identification of nucleic acid base sequence or protein biosynthesis in a cell-free system. The method for producing the ribosome with an affinity tag comprises constituting a fusion gene that contains a gene encoding ribosome protein and a gene encoding an affinity tag in which the gene encoding the ribosome protein and the gene encoding the affinity tag are arranged in the same reading frame, incorporating the fusion gene into a vector and expressing the recombinant vector in a host organism so as to produce the ribosome with the affinity as fusion protein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
