<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable operations of a printing apparatus to be readily performed. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus of this invention has a printing mechanism, a sensor, and a controller. The printing mechanism has a transport mechanism for transporting a medium and a print head for ejecting ink while it is moving, and prints an image on the medium. The sensor detects the image printed on the medium. The controller causes the printing mechanism to print an answer sheet, causes the sensor to detect the answer sheet, and adjusts at least one operation among the transport operation of the transport mechanism and an ink ejection operation of the print head according to the detection results of the sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
