<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress undesired power consumption by distributing a clock for every functional block of an electronic apparatus, thereby performing an appropriate clock control for every functional block. <P>SOLUTION: In an operation controller 1 provided wiyh the functional block 5, which has a register 13 to be acessed from the outside and executes a required operation, and a clock supply device 4, which supplies the clock to the functional block, a clock supply device comprises a clock automatic stop control section 10, which automatically stops the clock supply to the functional block when no access to the register of the functional block is found for a specified time and automatically reopens the clock supply to the functional block when register access to the functional block is found.
