PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly continue the operation of hot rolling by suppressing the generation of defective surface quality such as surface roughening and scale defects on a product manufactured by hot rolling and also suppressing the generation of slip between the nose of a material to be rolled and the surfaces of work rolls and to improve the working rate and production efficiency in the operation of the hot rolling by reducing the frequency of roll changing. SOLUTION: This hot finishing mill train is provided with an on-line roll grinder 28 at one or more stands in addition to the three final stands of the hot finishing mill train.
