PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head supporting device which can reduce the number of crash stops disposed in a casing in order to prevent damage due to a runaway of a voice coil motor or the impact from the outside or by a contact or collision of the head supporting device with or against a recording medium or other disk device constituting parts and can be manufactured at a low manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The head supporting device 5 is constituted with a turning regulation member 12 having projecting parts 12a and 12b for regulating the turning range of an actuator arm 19 disposed with a head slider at one end and loaded with a voice coil 18 at the other end together with the actuator arm 19 so as to turn around a turning shaft 4 and is arranged with the one crash stop 7 implanted in the casing 8 so as to be held between the projecting parts 12a and 12b.
