METHOD FOR RECYCLING HYDROGEN SULFIDE-REMOVING MATERIAL MADE OF CERAMIC HONEYCOMB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling a H2S removing material made of a ceramic honeycomb which carries a composite metal oxide containing Mn.

SOLUTION: The H2S removing material after use of the H2S removing material made of the ceramic honeycomb carrying the composite metal oxide containing Mn is subjected to washing treatment in a heated alkali aqueous solution or heat treatment in a vacuum to remove S (sulfur) deposed on a surface. By removing S on the surface, a catalyst function of the composite metal oxide is made to exert again and H2S removal performance is recovered.
