PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner left after transfer which is recovered to a recovery part from being leaked to a photoreceptor drum side from both ends of a cleaning blade without making both ends of the cleaning blade bite at an elastic member. SOLUTION: The cleaning device is equipped with a housing 50, the cleaning blade 51 and a pair of side seal parts 52. The blade 51 is attached to the housing so as to go along the surface of a photoreceptor drum 30 and slides in contact with the drum 30. The pair of side seal parts 52 has a 1st side seal 62 and a 2nd side seal 72. The 1st side seal 62 is attached to the housing 50 so as to abut on the respective side surfaces of both ends of the blade 51 in an axial direction. The 2nd side seal 72 is attached to the 1st side seal 62 so as to abut on the respective surfaces of both ends of the blade 51 on the recovery part 56 side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
