PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat keeping cooking tool using heat conduction of water intended to keep part of a hot plate or an iron plate warm while the hot plate or the iron plate is being heated for cooking. SOLUTION: This heat keeping cooking tool is to keep things warm by means of the heat conduction through water as well as a heat-conductive material. The area in contact with an iron plate portion, on a tray placed under a cooking tool body is kept as small as possible. The heat of the water contained in the tray is conveyed to the iron plate portion through heat-conductive protruding strips that are not in contact with the tray attached to the iron plate portion at some points.
