<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for electrostatic latent image development which less sticks, and has excellent high image density and granularity, stable electrifying capability for a long period, wear resistance of a coating layer, superior adhesion between a magnetic core material particle and a coating layer, and no electrification variation in spite of spending of a toner composition. <P>SOLUTION: The carrier for electrostatic latent image development comprising the magnetic core material particle and the coating layer formed on the core material particle surface contains 0 to 7 wt.% particles of ≤20 μm in particle size such that the weight mean particle size Dw is 22 to 32 μm and the radio Dw/Dp of the quantity mean particle size Dp to the weight mean particle size Dw satisfies 1.0<Dw/Dp<1.2 and 90 to 100 wt.% particles of ≤36 μm, and the coating layer contains a condensate obtained from a mixture of (i) N-alkoxy polyamide alkylate resin and (ii) silicone resin which has a silanol group and/or a hydrolyzable group and can react to the N-alkoxy polyamide alkylate resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
