PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum coating method for a core material more improved in workability than heretofore, and a vacuum apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: The vacuum coating method of a core material includes: an arranging process for arranging the core material 1 and a skin material 2 in a chamber box 3 possible to depressurize to close the chamber box 3; a pressure reducing process for integrally reducing the pressure in the chamber box 3 and heating the skin material 2 to soften the same; a demarcation process for relatively replacing the skin material 2 so as to enclose the coating place of the core material 1 by the skin material 2 to demarcate the core material 1 in an integrally reduced pressure space; and a coating process for internally pressurizing the chamber box 3 from the side of the skin material 2 to coat the core material 1.
