PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method for blocks and a moving device for the block capable of rapidly joining the blocks without requiring severe installation accuracy. SOLUTION: In this joining method for blocks for joining precast blocks to one another, a guide part 22 projected from a later installed block 1a installed later is combined with a temporary support part 21 formed on the outer periphery of a former installed block that is already installed. The tip of a reaction body 23 slidably installed on the guide part is fixed to the former installed block, and the blocks are joined to one another by moving the later installed block in the direction of the former installed block by a jack 24 installed in the later installed block while securing a reaction by the reaction body. Also, after the later installed block is moved, a plurality of joining members 31 disposed between joining end faces of the blocks are simultaneously tightened by a uniform force to join the blocks to one another.
