<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact kiln drier of low processing cost by utilizing an exhaust gas from another furnace. <P>SOLUTION: This kiln drier comprises a cylindrical kiln main body 1 inclined downward to a downstream side and rotated, an inner cylinder 4 concentrically fixed in the kiln main body and having gas holes 4b on its upstream-side peripheral face, a burner 5 for injecting the flame F into the inner cylinder 4 from the downstream side, first and second hoods 2, 3 covering the downstream and upstream end parts of the kiln main body, a substance discharging passage 7 formed on the first hood for discharging the heat-treated useful substance, a gas exhaust port 9 formed on the upstream side of the inner cylinder for exhausting a combustion gas Gd, and a duct 8 formed on the second hood for guiding the exhaust gas Ga of the other furnace into a passage 11. Unnecessary organic substances is vaporized and eliminated by heating a material M by radiation heat of the inner cylinder 4, the exhaust gas Ga and a circulated gas Gb, and then discharged from the substance discharging passage 7, the exhaust gas Ga is guided to the downstream side by utilizing the injection pressure of the burner to be sucked into the inner cylinder and burnt by the burner, and the combustion gas Gd is guided from the gas holes 4b to the passage 11, and partially exhausted from the gas exhaust port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
