<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that output results can be certainly acquired at a preset time, in an image forming apparatus which performs a printing process at a designated time. <P>SOLUTION: In this image forming apparatus, a plotting/development part 714 plots/develops time-designated received jobs, a color conversion part 716 generates data Dprnt for printout which can be handled by an image output part 30; a data storage part 718 stores the data Dprnt; a designated time output control part 750 handles the designated time as time for ending the processing and specifies a start time retroactively by time complying with a job substance such as a job volume or the processing capability of the image output part 30 counting from the end time as a starting point. Further, when the time clocked by a time control part 758 reaches the specified process starting time, a central processing control part 710 posts to such an effect.
