The invention relates to recombinant micro-organisms, which have an increased concentration or activity of a D-amino acid oxidase, an amino acid dehydrogenase, an enzyme that regenerates the NADH co-substrate and optionally a catalase. The invention also relates to a method for producing L-amino acids from D-amino acids using said micro-organisms.
