<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system having a collection tank storing the water separated from off-gas, capable of effectively collecting the water. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The fuel cell system comprises a collection tank 1 storing the water separated from the off-gas of the fuel cell, and a water drop removing part 2 arranged in the collection tank 1. (2) The cross section of an air vent part 3 arranged on the collection tank is made larger than that of a water supplying part 4 arranged on the collection tank. (3) A plurality of collection tanks are provided and they are communicated with each other through communication parts 8. (4) A plurality of communication parts 8 are formed on respective collection tanks 1, and the height of the communication parts 8 are made different from each other.
