PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the azimuth more accurately, especially even when an electronic azimuth meter is used in the inclined state with respect to a horizontal plane because of various using method or carrying ways by a user of the electronic azimuth meter for a portable apparatus, by solving the problems wherein an accurate offset cannot be acquired by a conventional procedure and the azimuth cannot be calculated accurately in an inclined environment. SOLUTION: This electronic azimuth meter is equipped with a magnetometric sensor having a function for acquiring an x-y-z three dimensional coordinate which is an output equivalent to a magnetic vector in the x-y-z axis direction, an offset acquiring device having a function for acquiring an x-y-z offset value by utilizing data of four different pairs of x-y-z three dimensional coordinate values, an azimuth operation device, and an azimuth display device having a function for displaying the azimuth acquired by the azimuth operation device.
