ADHESIVE COMPOSITION FOR RUBBER/FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for rubber/fibers having high adhesiveness and rubber pickup. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition for rubber/fibers is characterized by consisting essentially of a resorcin-formalin-rubber latex and comprising a compound having≥2 maleimide groups. Furthermore, the compound having the maleimide groups is preferably dispersed in water or is preferably m-phenylenebismaleimide. The adhesive composition preferably contains the compound having the maleimide groups in an amount of 0.1-5 wt.% based on the solid weight of the resorcin-formalin-rubber latex component.
