PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid type massage apparatus for stably supporting the body of a user and demonstrating sufficient massage effects. SOLUTION: A water massage bed 11 is provided with a water tank 12, an auxiliary plate 41 for covering the peripheral edge part of the opening 15 of the water tank 12 and assisting the support of the user 10, a sheet 14 covering the opening 15 and the auxiliary plate 41, and a jetting device for jetting water inside the water tank 12 to the back side of the sheet 14. The auxiliary plate 41 is fixed to the water tank 12 by an attaching metal fitting 40. On the auxiliary plate 41, the opening in a shape corresponding to a human body shape is formed.
