Packaging (1) for a medical catheter guide wire or the like includes an elongate tubular body (2) having a bore (3) for reception of the guide wire. The body (2) has integral complementary interengagable male (5) and female (6) formations on an exterior of the body (2). These formations (5, 6) interengage when the body (2) is coiled into a spiral hoop for packing and handling, to neatly and securely hold the body (2) in the hoop shape. |
