<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resource management device, and its method sending a download file designating download of resource data to a PC of a network to which a device is connected, and having the resource data downloaded to the object device in view of a conventional method wherein resource data cannot be downloaded to a device connected to a network in an environment wherein the types of devices connected to the network are unknown. <P>SOLUTION: When the download file including device information designating the resource data, and a download destination of the resource data is sent to the PC of the network to which the device is connected, the PC specifies the device matching the device information from devices of the network to which the PC is connected on the basis of the download file (S304), and the resource data corresponding to the specified device is transferred (S307). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
