PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recycled toner which ensures less variation of properties, as compared with an initial toner. SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic toner used in an image forming method including a toner reclaiming step of returning a used toner removed in a cleaning step to a development step again as a recycled toner, [1] the toner comprises toner base particles containing at least a binder resin and a colorant, and external additives, [2] a shape factor SF1 of the toner base particles is within a range of 120-140, [3] the average primary particle diameter of the external additives is within a range of 1-80 nm, and [4] a loose apparent density (AD1) of the toner, a loose apparent mass density (AD2) of the recycled toner recovered in the toner reclaiming step, and the difference (ΔAD=¾AD1-AD2¾) between the loose apparent densities of the toner and the toner for electrophotographic satisfy specified relational expressions.
