<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of uniformly supplying reactive gas to the whole electrode reaction surface with a simple and compact structure, promptly following the changes in a flow rate of the reactive gas, and maintaining stable power generation performance. <P>SOLUTION: In a second seal member 58 integrated with a second metal separator 18, an outer protrusion 60a and an inner protrusion 62a are provided on a surface 18a. A fuel-gas storage chamber 66 whose both ends are blockaded by providing connection protrusions 67a, 67b in specified positions to communicate only with an inlet through hole 55a and an inlet buffer part 54a is formed between the outer protrusion 60a and the inner protrusion 62a. The fuel-gas storage chamber 66 is arranged outside of the electrode reaction surface 64 and stores a part of fuel gas supplied from the inlet through hole 55a to the surface 18a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
