<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive cut paper double sided printer for stopping a stepping motor in a low vibration environment and a short time, minimizing a required distance between sheets and a required sheet feeding speed, and wholly miniaturizing the motor in a sheet feeding system without adding components as a cost increasing factor e.g. a damper effective to reducing a settling time. <P>SOLUTION: After a drive pulse of the stepping motor is stopped, a motor current is reduced to zero at a proper timing, or reduced to 10% or less of a current during forward or backward drive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
