PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a region extraction method capable of automatically extracting a desired region accurately by a simple specifying operation such as a one-click operation. SOLUTION: The present invention is an image processing method that extracts a specific region from an image, and has a first region extraction step S12 that extracts an approximate color region from a specified point, a reference point setting step S13 that sets a reference point used for extracting an approximate color region to be added to the extracted approximate color region, and a second region extraction step S14 that extracts an approximate color region from the reference point and adds it to the already extracted approximate color region.
