PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sea squirt transporting container which enables long-distance transportation for living sea squirts while keeping them highly fresh. SOLUTION: The transporting container is composed of a container body 20 made of synthetic resin foam, an intermediate insole 30 and a lid 21, while, on the intermediate insole 30, sea squirt support portions 33 are formed which have radial cuts 35 therein. Sea squirts A are stuffed in the sea squirt support portions 33 from their roots 3.
