PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of realizing sanitary ventilation. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with a ventilation device having a function for taking outdoor air in to ventilate an indoor side and a function for sucking indoor air and exhausting it outdoors to ventilate the indoor side and an ultraviolet ray emitting part 11 provided in front of a heat exchanger 6 and lit when at least the ventilation device performs ventilation by taking outdoor air in. The ventilation device is constituted in such a way that a blow-out part 14A for outdoor air to be taken into the indoor side is provided close to the ultraviolet ray emitting part 11, and outdoor air blown out from the blow-out part 14A is irradiated with ultraviolet rays from the ultraviolet ray emitting part 11.
