A voice recording device has a microphone (5) and an acoustic output device. (Keys (8-11) for controlling the voice recording and identifier input and a card reader (3) is provided for reading data of a confirmation card (2) in which voice recording with data of an inserted confirmation card (2) is linked and the replay of the voice recording follows after authorization evidence. In the voice recording device is a store/memory which receives the data read from the confirmation card (2) and the voice recording and the authorization evidence serves as authorization of an input identifier or the presence of the confirmation card (2) in the card reader (3) by comparing the recorded and the data that was read. The recording device has a display in which selected data of the confirmation card (2) is represented and stored for reproduced voice recordings.
