<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material which is provided with a recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored leuco dye and a developer, which has proper color development properties, and which is excellent particularly in the water resistance and heat resistance of a recording part, and the shelf life of a white paper part with hot water resistance and lightfastness. <P>SOLUTION: In this thermal recording material, a thermal recording layer, which contains the leuco dye and a developing compound for making the leuco dye develop a color under a heated state, is provided on a substrate. Characteristically, in the thermal recording layer, a calcium carbonate is used as a specific white pigment; 3-dibutylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluorane is contained as the leuco dye; 2,4'-dihydroxydiphenylsulfone is contained as the developing compound; a di-p-chlorobenzyl oxalate or 2-(2'-hydroxy-5'-methylphenyl)benzotriazole is contained as a sensitizer; and 1,1,3-tris(2-methyl-4-hydroxy-5-t-cyclohexylphenyl)butane is contained as a storage stabilizer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
