SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING RESERVATION/CANCELLATION OF PARKING SPACE, CELLULAR PHONE TERMINAL, SERVER AND RESERVATION PLATE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a utilization ratio of a parking space by reducing a traffic congestion and preventing an accident at a densely-settled area around a station etc., and minimizing wasted time at a coin parking site etc.

SOLUTION: A reservation reception part 41 of a parking system 4 receives a reservation request or reservation cancellation request of parking from a cellular phone terminal 1. A reservation plate operation command part 42 operates a reservation plate device 5 installed in a parking space 6 and suppressing vehicle entering when the reservation is requested and outputs an instruction to cancel the plate device 5 when the reservation cancellation is requested. An infrared ray communication part 43 receives information from the command part 42 to perform infrared ray communication with the plate device 5. A remote control data generation part 44 confirms that the command part 42 has issued an operation instruction for the plate device 5 to the communication part 43 and operations of the plate device 5 has completed and generates remote control data for operating a reservation plate of a corresponding parking space to the terminal 1 which has requested a parking reservation.
