<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user of the information relating to a file regardless of the utilization of an electronically-stored file. <P>SOLUTION: A document management server 30 holds a shared document and additional information relating to a condition of each document. With respect to a client 10, a document state monitoring part 17 allows an information acquiring part 15 to acquire additional information and the like of each document of which the management information is registered in a local document management information storing part 21 from the document management server 30, determines whether information relating to the condition of the acquired document and contents of the access information at a local side are agreed with a notification condition determined in the information on a monitoring information item or not, and provides the agreement to the user when agreed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
